01: Mapping Watersheds
In Lab 01, I worked with rivers, lakes/reservoirs, The Great Lakes subbasins, and polygons that form North America in order to show the geographic information of North American watersheds. After completing my map, I noticed one thicker line that stood out. This is the Mississippi drainage basin, which includes the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. The basin-scale representation draws attention to human influence on different landscapes.
